GLMCA Scholarship Program
At its inception, the GLMCA established a scholarship program to assist promising students of music at the college level who show interest in the promotion and performance of male chorus music and possess an appreciation of personal, fraternal, and artistic harmony.
Award values are subject to change as determined by the scholarship committee, based on funds available.
Scholarships are available to full-time students enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program with a major in music (vocal or choral emphasis receives a preference). Candidates must be sponsored by a member chorus of the Great Lakes Male Chorus Association.
If you are interested in receiving one of these scholarships, contact on of the member choruses in your area to get an application and arrange an audition. Click here to download a brochure on the scholarship application process. Click here for the scholarship package.

He worked tirelessly to promote male choruses and strove to improve the quality of their presentations.
